Ford cutting shift at Chicago assembly plant
Ford Motor Co. will cut one of two production shifts in November at the Chicago plant where it builds the Taurus and other vehicles, affecting part-time workers first, a spokeswoman said today. GM: Lower gas prices help truck salesGeneral Motors' employee pricing program helped the automaker sell more vehicles in August than in any month of 2008.
